Where Young Girls Grow Strong & Learn...The Facts of Life!
About Us
Mission
To strengthen the community by helping young people discover healthy solutions to unfortunate life situations by assisting them according to the Christian value system that integrates all of humanity.

Vision
A community where people learn to care for themselves and each other with integrity, respect and compassion.

History
After years of visiting children in the foster care system and observing their needs, Yolanda Robinson established AZFOL in 2003 to make a difference in the lives of girls in need.

Since 2003, Arizona facts of Life has given girls the opportunity to achieve long-term life balance.  By utilizing the Christian value system, we help girls discover healthy solutions to life’s challenges.

We understand that the girls we counsel today are the potential leaders of tomorrow.  We nourish the hearts, minds
and souls of every participant in our program.

Our Founder is Yolanda Robinson

The facts of life program was founded by Yolanda Robinson and is supported through numerous other community groups and individuals.

Yolanda founded the Facts of Life program after beating the odds.  Yolanda grew up in a poverty stricken neighborhood, was a teenage mother, and did not graduate from high school.  Yet and still, Yolanda persevered by following her passion for helping young individuals to be strong.  Yolanda has since returned to school receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree, in Family and Human Development, provides for her family, and continues to provide a support structure within the community.
